A+ (Amas)

A+, as read in Spanish, means “you love”. This feature film interwines three independent stories (Terminal, Sidecar and Moon), each 30 minutes long.

The characters of each story guest star in the other two. The themes of A+, love, disagreements, family, friendship, drugs and music, build over the three stories and converge at the end at an International Music Festival.

A+ es un largometraje que se compone de tres historias cruzadas, de argumentos independientes, de treinta minutos de duración cada una.

 Las historias: Terminal, Sidecar y Luna. Los personajes de una historia aparecen en las otras dos pero siempre sin llegar a adquirir protagonismo determinante en sus desenlaces. A+ (Amas) narra tres historias de amor, desencuentro, drogas, familia, amistad y música que se entrecruzan y confluyen en un Festival Internacional de Música.

Muertos Comunes

 Pamplona 1973. Eusebio Luquin, a police inspector whose motto in life is never let work keep you awake at night has to solve, with the help of Goyoaga, the rape and murder of a young woman near the army barracks.

The army offers them its support in the investigations, but the case gets more complicated in a plot where some people keep quiet and others don’t ask questions.

Pamplona, año 1973. Eusebio Luquin, un inspector de policía cuya máxima en la vida es que el trabajo nunca le quite el sueño, ha de resolver con la ayuda de Goyoaga, su nuevo compañero, la violación y asesinato de una joven en los aledaños de un cuartel del ejército.

 Los militares les ofrecen su apoyo en la investigación, pero el caso se irá complicando en una trama en la que unos callan y los otros no preguntan.

Yo Puta

The movie is based on a book which is a best-seller in Spain and the number one best-seller in Italy. “Whore…the movie” shows us the protagonists of the oldest business in the world: sex.

Es una película basada en un best seller editorial en España, y actualmente número uno de ventas en Italia. “Yo puta”… La película nos muestra a las protagonistas del negocio más antiguo del mundo: el del sexo.

 La fusión de realidad con ficción le da un enfoque totalmente innovador, permitiendo al público acceder a la visión de un mundo oculto, que despierta gran curiosidad y morbo. El tratamiento de la imagen combina las más exquisita cinematografía tradicional con las últimas técnicas en post-producción digital, que da como resultado una estética vanguardista, moderna, sofisticada, atrevida y muy actual.

Héctor

Hector, a boy of 16, has lost his mother. His aunt Tere is going to look after him. He has to go from living in a house with a garden in the center of the city to a small apartment on the outskirts of Madrid.

Hector is trying to understand the new reality taking shape before his eyes. A way of life that is very different from the one he knew but that is becoming more familiar each day. Everything changes when Martín, Hector’s father, arrives. He has traveled from the other side of the ocean to meet his son. The boy knew that his father existed although he never wanted to meet him. Martín pursues him in order to explain the reason for his long absence and, in that way, win his son’s heart and also offer him a new life in Mexico. Hector will have to decide between his newly discovered family and the adventure beyond the sea. Influenced perhaps by his character or his feelings, Héctor decides.

Héctor, un adolescente de 16 años, ha perdido a su madre. Su tía Tere se hace cargo del joven. De vivir en una céntrica casa con jardín se traslada a un pequeño piso en un barrio a las afueras de Madrid.

 Héctor trata de comprender la nueva realidad que se muestra ante sus ojos. Una forma de vida muy distinta a la suya pero que, poco a poco, sentirá muy próxima. Todo cambia con la llegada de Martín, el padre de Héctor. Ha viajado desde el otro lado del océano para encontrarse con su hijo. El chico sabía que su padre existía aunque nunca haya querido conocerle. Martín le persigue para explicarle la razón de tan larga ausencia y así, ganarse el corazón de su hijo además de ofrecerle una nueva vida en México. Héctor tendrá que decidir entre su familia recién descubierta y la aventura más allá del mar. Llevado tal vez por su carácter o quizá por su sentimiento, Héctor decide.

La puta y la ballena

Without knowing when or how Vero has lost her way: she has run aground in Spain. The crisis of her marriage, the discovery of a lump in her breast along with the proposal to write the inscriptions for the photos of an Argentinean killed in the Spanish Civil War, lead to her escape.

 In Buenos Aires she has a mastectomy and while there she begins to encounter the basic signs which drive her to writing her next story. Unravelling the mystery of a whale which ran aground twice or of a chorus girl who works as a prostitute in Patagonia following the steps of a photographer are only the excuses which she uses to rediscover the person she once was. Alone at the end of the world she falls in love with a stranger in the same bed of the brothel where her leading character swears she will never fall in love again, she dances a tango with death and buries the past in the depths of the sea.

Sin saber cuándo ni cómo Vera perdió el paso: está varada en España. Su crisis matrimonial, el descubrimiento de un bulto en su mama, junto a la propuesta de escribir los epígrafes de las fotos de un argentino muerto en la Guerra Civil Española precipitan su escape.

 En Buenos Aires se realiza una mastectomía y es allí donde comienza su encuentro con los indicios fundamentales que la impulsarán a escribir su próxima historia. Desentramar el misterio de una ballena que se varó dos veces o de una corista que se prostituye en la Patagonia siguiendo los pasos de un fotógrafo son sólo excusas que le servirán para reencontrarse con quien alguna vez fue. Sola en el fin del mundo, se enamorará de un desconocido en la misma cama de burdel en la que los protagonistas de su novela juraron no enamorarse nunca, bailará un tango con la muerte y enterrará el pasado en las profundidades del mar.
