Rodrigo is the perfect candidate for hero: a, handsome, well-humored, brave young man with a brilliant future lying before him. Rodrigo es un perfecto candidato a héroe: hijo de un noble castellano, combina la educación en la corte junto a su mejor amigo Sancho y primogénito del Rey, con las furtivas visitas a su amada Gimena, la hija del Conde de Gormaz, quien con gran celo prohíbe su relación.

Apuesto, joven, divertido y valiente, un futuro resplandeciente se presenta ante él. Friends like Sofia, Sara, Mario, Manu, Irene … Eight men and women in their thirties, leading unspectacular, normal lives. They meet in restaurants, bars and bedrooms; some are married to one another, others related. But how well do they know each other? Do they really tell each other everything? ‘In the City’ paints the intimate portrait of people who are close to one another yet cannot confide their innermost feelings. People who present wishes as facts, betrayals as accidents, loneliness as an illusion … Who sometimes can’t express what they long to tell, and don’t know why they can’t. But who know that their friends will hold out their hands to catch them if they fall.
