Miguel Angel, Izan, Dani and Jorge are a group of teenagers who, with their joy, manage to challenge the cruelty of fate and make their convalescence in the orthopaedic ward of a hospital bearable.
In this situation “Los Pelones” realize how important friendship and belonging to a group are. But as well as their reaffirmation as a group each of them with his own identity reacts to the situation; Miguel-Angel’s supposedly self-sufficient aloneness, Jorge’s fear of the diagnosis, Izan’s indelible memories, Dani’s emotional anxieties… Humour is the vital force “Los Pelones” use to change their fate.
Miguel Ángel, Izan, Dani y Jorge, son un grupo de adolescentes que logran con su alegría desafiar el desprecio del destino y hacer soportable su convalecencia en la planta de traumatología de un hospital.
“Los Pelones” descubren en este contexto la importancia de la amistad y de la pertenencia a un grupo. Pero frente a las reafirmaciones colectivas, está la identidad de cada uno reaccionando a su situación: la soledad pretendidamente autosuficiente de Miguel Ángel, el temor de Jorge al diagnóstico, los recuerdos imborrables de Izan, las inquietudes emocionales de Dani… El humor es la fuerza vital que emplean “Los Pelones” para alterar su suerte.
