La luz prodigiosa

It is August 1936 and the Spanish Civil War is beginning… A young Andalusian shepherd picks up a man who has been left for dead by his executioners and finds shelter for him in a refuge.

The man, wounded by gun shots has ended up almost as a vegetable. In 1980 the shepherd comes across this man again. He is now an old man and walks the streets of Granada scrapping a living from begging. A chance event brings back his deadened memory and the old shepherd makes up his mind to find out who this man really is. Little by little, his investigations lead to a very real possibility that the man might be Federico García Lorca.

Agosto de 1936, al comienzo de la Guerra Civil Española… Un joven pastor andaluz rocoge a un hombre fusilado al que sus verdugos han dado por muerto y le busca refugio en un asilo.

El herido, por los disparos, ha quedado reducido a un estado semivegetal. En 1980, el pastor vuelve a encontrar su pista: ahora es un anciano que recorre las calles de Granada malviviendo de limosnas… Un hecho fortuito reaviva su memoria muerta, y el viejo pastor se obstina en averiguar su auténtica personalidad. Poco a poco, la investigación desemboca en la verosímil posibilidad de qeu el hombre sea Federico García Lorca.
