Sin retorno

Life hasn’t been easy for Pablo, an honest, hardworking widower and father. He was an English teacher in his country, Honduras, but lost his house and his pregnant wife in the Mitch hurricane.

In order to give his five-year-old daughter Cristina a better life he immigrates illegally to California where he starts to work picking fruit. However, all the hopes he had for his new life are thwarted when he runs over a little girl. Thousands of ideas go through his head but he has to accept reality, he’s an illegal immigrant who has seriously injured a little girl. If he waits until the police arrive he can lose the most important thing in his life, his daughter. Pablo runs away and goes to collect Christina at school but things get more complicated. Soid, a young reporter manages to follows them and they make a deal. In this way Pablo becomes involved in a story full of deceit, fears, frustrations and remorse.

La vida no ha sido fácil para Pablo, un padre viudo, honesto y trabajador. En su país de Honduras, era profesor de Inglés, pero debido al Huracán Mitch, perdió su casa y a su mujer embarazada.

Para ofrecer una vida mejor a Cristina, su hija de cinco años, inmigra ilegalmente a California, donde comienza a trabajar recogiendo fruta. Sin embargo, todas las ilusiones puestas en esta nueva vida se van a ver truncadas al atropellar a una niña. Mil ideas se le cruzan por la cabeza, pero la realidad se impone: un inmigrante ilegal que ha lesionado gravemente a una niña. Si espera a que vengan las autoridades, puede perder lo que más le importa en la vida: su hija. Pablo se fuga y va a recoger a Cristina al colegio, pero las cosas se complican. Soid, una joven reportera, consigue seguirlos y cerrar un trato. De esta manera Pablo se ve envuelto en una historia llena de engaños, miedos, frustraciones, arrepentimientos…

El rey de la granja

On the asteroid Sondak, the young rebel Kirik manages to get hold of Neuronia, a sphere with which Ramakor controls the minds of all the planet’s inhabitants. After freeing the planet and with the sphere in his hands Kirik escapes in a space-ship.

 The Mekans, frightening robots from Ramakor, chase him. Kirik’s space ship is hit and he has to take refuge on Earth. In order to camouflage himself among the inhabitants Kirik takes on the form of pictures he has seen on television but these images are from a cartoon. So Kirik turns himself into a cartoon chicken and then lands near a farm school in the middle of the mountains where summer camps for children are held. Mikel a ten-year-old boy, who spends his holiday on the farm school, gets hold of the Neuronia by chance and, unaware of the danger of this sphere, he begins using it making Kirik’s already complicated mission even more so.

En el asteroide Sondak, el joven rebelde Kirik consigue hacerse con Neuronia, una esfera con la que el tirano Ramakor controla mentalmente a todos sus habitantes. Tras liberar al planeta y con la esfera en su poder, Kirik escapa en una nave.

Los Mekans, temibles robots de Ramakor, salen en su persecución. La nave de Kirik es alcanzada y éste tiene que refugiarse en la Tierra. Para camuflarse entre sus habitantes Kirik adquiere el aspecto de las imágenes que recibe de la televisión, pero éstas corresponden a una serie de dibujos animados. Así, Kirik, convertido en un pollo de dibujos animados, aterriza cerca de una granja escuela perdida en la montaña, donde se realizan campamentos de verano para niños. Mikel, un niño de 10 años que pasa sus vacaciones en la granja escuela, se apodera fortuitamente de Neuronia y, desconocedor del peligro que la esfera conlleva, comienza a utilizarla, complicando aún más si cabe la delicada misión de Kirik.
