Rodrigo, a great success as an executive but a disaster as a father and husband, reconsiders his marriage when he suspects that his wife is cheating on him.

The same day that his car is stolen and he witnesses an accident where the vehicle is burnt out he finds out that his company has laid the blame for a fraud on him. So he decides to pretend to be his twin brother to get back his professional prestige and, more important, his family. But it is not going to be that easy as his wife doesn’t think much of her late husband, his teenage daughter has got a lot of things against him, his small son has always felt that he was ignored and to top it all the loss of his professional prestige comes from his then boss and lover. Things really get complicated when his real twin brother arrives on the scene.

In the summer of ’94 a team of television reporters filmed and interviewed seven Cubans and their families in the days before they set off on a risky adventure to cross the sea to reach the coast of the United States, fleeing from the economic difficulties ravaging the island.

 Some time later those of them who had been rescued on the high sea were found in the refugee camp at the North American base of Guantánamo. Their families remained in Cuba without news of any of them except for one woman who had been wrecked and had been forced to return to the island. Seven years has gone by, the development of the people, their fate, their life in the United States or in Cuba is portrayed in detail, with sensitivity. La Caja 507

Modesto an honourable worker is on his way to a bank on the Costa del Sol. Some bank robbers break into the safes of his bank and leave him trapped in the room with these safes.

 Safe 507 is among them and it contents reveal that his daughter’s death, which took place many years ago, was not an accident. Rafael, a corrupt ex-policeman with no scruples has to get back what was stolen from this safe. His life is worth nothing while the stolen documents are in other hands so he sets out on a desperate chase to get them back. Both men are caught up in a frantic race with different objectives in which their fates cross. Rafael knows the rules of the game very well but Modesto has to learn to adapt to these rules so that justice can be done but he has one advantage; nobody is counting on him, nobody knows what he knows.

Modesto, un hombre honrado y trabajador, dirige una sucursal bancaria en la Costa del Sol. Unos atracadores revientan las cajas de seguridad de su banco y le dejan atrapado en la cámara que las contiene.

 La caja 507 es una de ellas y su contenido le revela que la muerte de su hija, ocurrida hace unos años, no fue accidental. Rafael, un ex-policía corrupto y sin escrúpulos, tendrá que recuperar lo robado en esa caja. Mientras que los documentos desaparecidos estén en otras manos, su vida no vale nada, por lo que emprenderá una persecución desesperada para recuperarlos. Ambos se ven envueltos en una frenética carrera con objetivos distintos en la que sus destinos se cruzan. Una carrera con reglas que Rafael conoce bien y a las que Modesto tendrá que adaptarse para conseguir que se haga justicia. Sin embargo, este último tiene una ventaja: nadie cuenta con él, nadie sabe lo que el sabe.
