Paul a talented young music student is employed in San Francisco to turn the pages of the score in a concert by Richard Kennington one of the most famous pianists in the world.
Apart from being very diligent Paul is also extremely attractive something which is not lost on Kennington and his agent Mansourina. Kennington and Paul meet again in Barcelona where the young man is on holiday with his mother, Pamela, who is trying to get over the trauma of her husband leaving her. Paul and Kennington fall in love but the latter suddenly goes home fleeing from a deeper commitment in the relationship. At the same time Pamela begins to recover and to regain the confidence she lost while she realizes that Paul is no longer a child.
Paul, un joven y talentoso estudiante de música es contratado en San Francisco para pasar las páginas de la partitura en un concierto de Richard Kennington, uno de los pianistas más famosos del mundo. Además de diligente, Paul es extremadamente atractivo, hecho que no pasa desapercibido para Kennington y su agente Mansourian. Kennington y Paul vuelven a encontrarse en Barcelona, donde el joven está de vacaciones con su madre, Pamela, que intenta olvidar el trastorno producido por el abandono de su marido. Paul y Kennington se enamoran, pero este último regresa a su casa precipitadamente, huyendo de un mayor compromiso en la relación. Al mismo tiempo, Pamela empieza a recuperarse y a ganar la confianza perdida mientras se da cuenta de que Paul ha dejado de ser un niño.
